Maritime Day 2009 - On the Water

Congratulations to U.S. merchant mariners, and the Smithsonian Institute on the 76th anniversary of Maritime Day. SI Secretary Clough and DOT Secretary LaHood presided during the ribbon cutting for the new "On the Water" exhibit at the American History Museum on Friday May 22. I particularly like the modern maritime exhibits.
